Crafting your own holiday gifts is easier than you think with these simple gift ideas

It’s that time of year again. Closing the chapter on one year and opening a new chapter to the next. With all the holiday parties and get togethers, there is a need for a lot of gifts this time of year. Trying not to break the bank? Yeah, me neither! Making and crafting your own DIY Holiday Gifts has never been easier or more affordable. Below are 2 great ideas to help kick-start your creative juices!

Ice Bucket Gift Baskets

When putting together a gift basket, put a twist on it and use an ice bucket as the vessel. These can be themed baskets from “Coffee Lover”, “Spa Day” or “Date Night”. Build your baskets with things they will love and don’t forget to be creative.

• For the coffee lover, get a variety of coffee, mugs, chocolates and other goodies like syrups.
• For the spa day, add a gift card to their favorite spa, some candles, a couple of diy masks and some nail polish.
• For the newly married couple or even for the couple that has been together forever, a date night themed basket is perfect! Get their favorite bottle of wine, gift card to their favorite restaurant and a free babysitting coupon, if they have kids – FYI this last one isn’t for the faint of heart.

Easy Dessert Mixes with Airtight Canisters

These babies are so versatile and can be used for so many different DIY gifts. With their airtight seal and locking lid, these will keep your handmade mixes fresh until ready to be used. Plus, they can be reused! Here are three of our favorites. Attach our printable gift tags to the canister for easy gift-giving!

For each recipe, layer the dry ingredients into the airtight canister, attach a printable gift tag with baking instructions, and add a decorative touch like a sprig of holly or candy cane.
