Fab Fabric Organizers

Fab Fabric Organizers

Fantastic uses for fabric organizers

When I first got married my husband remarked (on several occasions) that so long as he buys me something with compartments, I would be happy. I thought his comment was crazy. I had no idea what he was talking about.

Fast forward a decade later. Now, I work for a company that makes so many products with compartments that are meant to contain other products. Aka, a storage company! I guess my husband knows me better than I know myself. He was right, I AM a lover of all things with compartments, slots, zippers, lids, holders, and organizers, and I’m not ashamed to admit it!

If I own a blanket, it needs a basket. If I have makeup, each item needs its own compartment. Toys or towels, you got it, they need to be harnessed or displayed. Why am I so crazy about stuff holders? I have no idea, but what I do know is that everything must have its place to live. That’s why these fabric bins by mDesign are so perfect! There is a bin for everything bin-able.

They come in 7 sizes and 6 colors. They have built-in handles and are made in different fabric styles. These versatile storage bins are perfect for closets, shelves, dresser drawers, linen closets, dresser tops, and cabinets. You can use several together to create a larger organizational unit or use them independently to fit your space as needed. They are perfect to create coordinated storage throughout your home.

To illustrate their versatility, I would like to provide you with a visual of how just one of these bins can work in 5 different rooms. Let’s take for example, our 10.5” open top cube.

Bathroom

You can use this bin to store extra toilet paper and add a decorative soft touch. It is a great alternative to the typical hard storage and gives your room a softer look. Use multiples to store your guest towels or robes for a coordinated cohesive look.

Mudroom

I have one of these awesome bins next to each entryway to our house. When we leave or enter it provides us with a direct drop zone for all things wintery, hats, gloves, scarves, and ear warmers. If you have kids, you can keep a bin for each child, why not add their name for a personal touch? These convenient bins are perfect for when the kids leave for school in the morning. There is no need for searching closets or arguing over what gloves go to whom. They are casual and functional and add that popular farmhouse look.

Bedroom

I love these bins for storing my bed accent pillows. It is so great to be able to crawl into bed knowing that my accent pillows are kept clean and off the floor. It’s also perfect for storing reading material or slippers right next to your bed or nightstand. That way they will be readily available when you need them.

Living Room

I always used the bins to store throw blankets in my family room. Then, one day some unexpected guests showed up in our driveway. I looked around and noticed that 5 or 6 of my puppy’s toys were strewn across the floor. I literally only had a few seconds to straighten up our family room floor. I quickly gathered them all up and threw them (temporarily) into our throw blanket bin. After our company left, I thought to myself, ‘these are perfect for Maisy’s toys,’ so now they serve two purposes, they hold our blankets AND act as a catch-all for quick puppy pickups. Try them, you’ll see!

Office

And by office, I mean anything paper related. I use these bins to store magazine subscriptions, folders, books, and office supplies. Your kids will love them for storing their bookbags, homework and school projects. They are perfect for storing in cubbies, setting on desks or shelves, or simply placing on the floor. There are so many ways to use them that you will always be surprised!

Fabric Bedside Caddy Storage Organizer with 4 Pockets

Before I go, I want to share one more neat fabric organizer that I just can’t live without. It’s the mDesign bedside caddy. This item is one of my all-time favorites because of all the neat places to store stuff. You know I love my compartments. It really is the best thing ever!

The 3 loops allow for easy installation on the side of your bed. The multiple large inner pockets store everything from magazines to books to water bottles. A front pocket keeps smaller items like remotes, phones and bottles close by. Then there are 3 pockets that hold anything from books and notepads to magazines and tablets. The really cool thing is that you can easily hide it when the bed is made under the overhang of comforters or blankets.

Psst. It is absolutely a must for college door rooms and kids’ bedrooms also.
