Cozy Up and Have Some Hot Cocoa with mDesign!

There’s nothing like a hot cup of cocoa to warm you up on a chilly winter day. Snuggling with loved ones, watching your favorite cheesy holiday movies, all that good stuff. After all, not everyone is a coffee drinker and if you are, you may not want to be up all night! Hot cocoa is the happy medium that is sweet, satisfying, and keeps you warmed up all winter long.

This cozy drink has come a long way from just simply hot water/milk and chocolate powder. There are so many different flavors and variations now. Mint, dark chocolate, non-dairy, pumpkin spice, white chocolate, the list goes on! Not to mention all the fun items you can add to really turn up the volume, like chocolate straws, candy cane spoons, marshmallows, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup drizzle.

If you want to do hot cocoa right, National Hot Cocoa Day is December 13th this year. Take advantage by turning it into the celebration to remember – maybe even a new, long-lasting wintertime tradition! 1 Packet storage – in order to have the best hot cocoa bar, you need to have variety! This is key to impressing your loved ones with a truly awesome set up, and options that everyone will love. Take a divided bin, like these bamboo ones, and fill them with all different hot cocoa flavor options. Arrange them by color to give it a fun effect. Seeing them all displayed also makes it easy for all options to be visible to the drinkers!

Or, if you prefer to take the packet contents out of the paper packet, you can display them in their raw form in airtight containers. The mix can be easily poured into one’s cup and seeing the contents of the container as your choosing it adds a fun element to the experience!

2 Using those same airtight containers or these stylish canisters, fill them with other goodies to allow your hot cocoa drinkers to create their own unique drink. Fill them with sprinkles, marshmallows of different sizes, cinnamon sticks, chocolate straws, candy canes, chocolate shavings, whatever you might see at the store that would make an excellent addition to your drink.

3 A fun tip I always used growing up, was adding some coffee creamer to my hot chocolate. It adds a touch of – you guessed it – creaminess, while also giving your hot cocoa a hint of that flavor. Keep these chilled beforehand in the fridge and pull them out on to display while your loved ones go down the line and whip up their concoctions.
