There are a lot of mixed opinions out there in regards to the benefits of green juice or smoothies. Everyone is different and unique and so are our bodies. Overall, it depends upon what you put into your juice or smoothie and what type of dietary restrictions you are under. (For those watching their sugar intake, be sure to keep an eye on the amount of fruit you add.) However, for most of us, there are a lot of benefits to be gained. Green smoothies are LOADED with nutrients. Raw greens are some of the healthiest things on the planet and you can increase the health benefits by adding flax, chia seeds, ginger and more.
